He's been sitting pretty well about the past week! He'd been doing so well, we actually tried him in a highchair in a restaurant for the first time, just during the time we were actually eating. We had to put a rolled-up blanket behind him but then he sat happily and played with toys for about ten minutes!
He can sit once placed in the sitting position, and is able to stay up on his own for several minutes at a time now, and even correct for leaning much of the time. He isn't able to leave sitting very gracefully, though, so we always are near enough to catch him when he lunges/slips to the floor. =)
