Black beans

Before today, Joey had tried sweet potatoes (never very well-liked), bananas (fairly well-received), oatmeal (spit almost all out every time), and pear (lukewarm reception). Today was a completely different story. I wish we'd taken video but we didn't think of it until too late.

Joey very enthusiastically ate quite a bit of black beans! We warmed them slightly and mushed them up and fed them to him on our fingers. He kept grabbing John's finger as he approached with the black beans and pulling it quickly into his mouth!
