I helped out at Joey's first grade class's Halloween party by putting together a station for the kids to have some fun activities. At my station, they played a Halloween themed Memory game and used straws to suck up pieces of paper cut into the shapes of bats, ghosts, and pumpkins to move them into a container in a race. Then they got glow bracelets.
